Our STORY

We are dreamers, travelers and have been friends since our college days. After visiting more than 50 countries and tasting different cuisines, we wanted to bring the European cafe experiences to the heart of Kolkata.

We want to be a part of our home city through the most crucial ingredients for a conversation - coffee and food.

Kaffee am Salzsee is here to spread happiness . We are looking at a world where we can sit with you and talk about every topic ranging from Stanley Kubrick's films to Roger Federer's beautiful backhand flicks to Tagore's poetry and modern Bangla-Hindi movies

The more you visit our cafe, the stronger will be our resolve to create this happy world...create a space to have an adda with friends, old and new, along with a distinct European cuisine served fresh from our kitchen.
